Smell Goods Lavender Cotton Candy: this blend is very unique and delightful. The sweetness of the cotton candy is very realistic and temers the fresh herbal notes of the lavender in a quite successful blend. When melting I also get a hint of grape candy, which I normally can't stand, but somehow it works here. This was a standout blend from this Valentine's sampler. Overall grade: A. Would purchase.
Cleanse Your Soul Carrot Cake: This is another winner! The carrot cake smells very realistic; rich and moist bakery blend with brown sugar, spice, and a hint of cream cheese frosting. It was strong for the first couple of hours and had more moderate throw for the rest of the day. This is the best of the few CYS tart scents I have tried so far. Overall grade: A. Would purchase.
BHG Iced Lemon Poundcake: This is a good sweet lemon + buttery bakery scent. It delivers the notes that it promises, but isn't particularly special. It wasn't quite as strong or long lasting as some BHG tarts. It was fairly strong for about 4 hours, but it was barely noticeable after about 10 hours. I like this scent but am not in love with it. I prefer the Iced Lemon Sugar Cookies scent by Scentsationals; the two are similar but the Cookies one seems a bit stronger. Overall grade: B. Probably won't repurchase.
Scentsationals Tea Thyme:
This is an herbal tea scent with a hint of sweet mint and florals to my nose. It is very pleasant and refreshing for the first few hours, but easily fades into the background and becomes hardly noticeable throughout the day. It's very nice, but I'd prefer it to be longer lasting.
Overall grade: B+. Probably won't repurchase.
