BBW Haul & Fun Mail

A few months ago I was disappointed to learn that Bath & Body Works was no longer giving out coupons in store. Fortunately I have still been getting them in the mail every month. My favorites are the free item coupons and while normally I receive a free travel sized body care item coupon, the latest one was for a free wallflower bulb or plug in. I had never tried the wallflowers before because I melt so much wax and candles, but I couldn't pass up a freebie, so I purchased the most basic wall plug for $4.50 and got a $6.50 fragrance bulb in Marshmallow Fireside for free.

I plugged it in next to my bathroom sink and it has been nicely scenting that small area for several days now. I will be interested to see if the fragrance lasts weeks or months and if I go "nose blind" to it or if I can smell it until the fragrance oil runs out. I am enjoying it so far and will likely purchase another scent bulb when this one is empty. BBW strikes again...

The other main reason I visited my local BBW emporium was for handsoaps. My husband and I really enjoy the foaming handsoaps and usually go through about two a month. I usually stock up on them about half a dozen at a time, especially during the semi-annual sales when I can get them as low as $1.75-$2.50 a piece. When I went this time the sale wasn't particularly good, 4 for $20, but we were almost completely out of soaps so I got a few. With an additional 20% off coupon I was able to get 4 soaps and the plug and bulb for $21 and change.

I've tried and enjoyed all these soap scents before except the Autumn Spice and Clementine which is new this season. It is quite intriguing and enjoyable, a rustic orange and spice scent with a touch of crisp autumn air.

Other than these few items and some fall Walmart wax I haven't been purchasing much bath and body items or wax. Aside from budgeting issues, I've been focusing more on clothes recently and have had packages filled with pretty tops,  dresses and leggings arriving periodically, mainly from Lularoe, Fabulegs and Walmart.

It was a lovely surprise when one of my online friends blessed me with a goodie box out of the blue. It was filled with some body and hair fragrance mists, a sugar scrub, wax melts, a perfume and nail polishes; all my favorite things! I am grateful to know so many kind and generous people.

From time to time I also request sample boxes of free items from a site called Pinch Me, and single full size products from another site called Bzzzfeed. Theses were the samples that came in my last Pinch Me box, and I received a free Glade car air freshener from Bzzzfeed (not pictured.)
