Homemade, served with rice and (store bought) naan. Turned out wonderfully; very similar to the chicken curry from my favorite Indian restaurant!

NOTD: Neon Watermelon
Hi Readers! This is my first real attempt at nail art. I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out. It was freehand, but the lines would have been much cleaner if I'd had the nail brushes and dotting tools I'm waiting on in the mail. Ulta base coat, 1 coat of Kiss french tip, 2 coats SG Cool, 2 coat stripes of SG Peace, dots of Ulta Little Black Dress, Ulta x-dry top coat. Took an hour.
Based on this tutorial.

NOTD: Sally Girl Cool and Jamberry Leopard
Was sent a free sample of Jamberry. The only unfortunate part was the sample was too small to fit any of my fingers except my pinky, and I didn't really want a leopard pinky accent, lol. I ended up applying it to my ring finger and trying to paint a polish border around it; meh. I tried to follow the application directions to the letter, except that you have to heat them before applying and I don't have a hand dryer or hair dryer, so I ended up sticking them in the microwave for 20 seconds. I'm glad it worked and they didn't melt, haha! They were pretty easy to apply and I would use them again if I had the right sizes. Excited to see how long they last as opposed to regular polish. The pink np is Sally Girl Cool. Love the color but the formula is so weird. It dries way too quickly so it smudges and lumps while you're still painting the nail. This is with 2 coats, Ulta base and x-dry top coat.

Recent Purchases
My Walmart and Target beauty boxes arrived today!
Really good deals for $5 each; way better than those pricy subscription boxes. There's nothing I wouldn't use, and many of the items are full size!
I also purchased these sandals and bag from Payless. The sandals were on sale for $19.99 from $34.99 and the bag only

Nail Gadgets from Wish.com
Brushes & dotting tools, tape, cuticle clean up pen, and a bottle holder! This stuff is all from China, a site called wish.com. All for $6 plus $4 shipping! This is my first time ordering nail products from them but I've ordered jewelry and accessories from them and been satisfied. Some of it's not the best quality but they have a huge selection of inexpensive stuff. I'll review them when they arrive.

Thoughts On Zoya Order
They finally arrived over 2 weeks later. I've gotten stuff from China faster, lol! But they are GLORIOUS!
There is not a dud in the bunch! The only ones that will even need two coats are Kissy and maybe Trixie. Left hand is Reece pinky, Tinsley ring, Kissy middle, Zuza index, Hazel thumb. Right hand is Trixie pinky, ELF Metal Madness ring, SG Flash middle, Maybelline X Marks The Spot ring, SG Bikini thumb.

Thoughts on Clinique & E.L.F. Orders
I know E.L.F. np formula can be so so, but this "Mystery Collection" intrigued me. They look a bit different irl than they did online, but I'll reserve judgment til I use them. (My pic top right, stock pic bottom right.) For $3 I'm not complaining, and they sent me 2 free lip glosses plus free shipping!
Clinique: Great deal for $5! I'm happy with everything; this was a great way to sample their otherwise $$ products.
Not as good of a deal but their current promo is 2 freebies w/any $30 purchase and free shipping, code DUO.

Product Review: Secret Outlast Completely Clean Clear Gel Deodorant
I received a free sample of this deodorant in exchange for my honest review.
I was pleasantly surprised by this product. I had tried Secret deodorant many years ago and remember having an unfavorable opinion of its texture and odor fighting capabilities.
I was unsure as to whether I'd like this product, but wore it all day yesterday, mostly outdoors in 90° heat and I stayed odor free and noticeably dryer than some previous brands I've tried. Either my body chemistry has changed over the years, making me more compatible with this brand, or they have vastly improved their product. Either way, it's nice to know I don't have to dismiss Secret any longer.
