OOTD: Pretty In Plaid/One & Done Dress/Totally Teal/New To Me

Here's a try on/OOTD of the Ebay Zara blanket scarf. It's still pretty hot where I live, but since I know I'll be inside most of the day, I can use the scarf as protection against the arctic AC. In the winter I would love to add my gray tweed coat and gray or black tights to this look.

The scarf itself is wonderful. It took a few minutes of experimenting to tie/drape it so that it didn't look like it was swallowing my head. The only negative I've discovered so far is that it leaves rainbow colored fuzzies all over this ponte LBD. Good thing I recently bought a lint roller.

Finally wearing the Gap wrap dress I thrifted. The fabric is super soft and drapey, and it's actually kind of a mock wrap dress: it's gathered and sewn closed at the waist. In case they don't photograph well, the colors of the print are deep plum and gray.

I also received my Ebay baroque sunglasses. Well worth the $1.40 imo; they fit well and are not too flimsy.

I'm kind of winging it outfit wise today. I'm not wearing what I was originally planning because as I put on a brand new F21 dress, I discovered a hole in the side seam. :/ I can probably fix it and save myself the hassle of returning, but I was running late and did not have time to do so today. 

I wanted something comfy for running errands and easy to change out of for the gym later, and this is what I ended up with. I would have done a different bag if I had more time, but all my stuff was already in this one.

OOTD: A nod to Fall...

My color combo feels very fall-like. It's still a bit hot where I am, but I definitely plan to revisit this look when it's cooler, adding the gray cardigan pictured.

Mini Cichic draped top review since some of you were asking about it. This top looked like a confusing, wrinkled mess before I put it on, but once on I think the draped effect is quite lovely. It does have a string across the back of the neck to help keep it up, which I didn't notice in the original stock image. It also needs a saftey pin at the neck to avoid showing off boobage. The v in the hem also comes up high, so wear with high waisted things or show some skin. The jersey fabric is super comfy. The shipping from China took about 2 weeks. Oh, and check all size measurements carefully!
