Review: Pocket Full Of Peonies Wax

I am so happy to have received all this for free from a giveaway on the blog Fragrance Obsessed. I got to pick the scents and all opinions on them are my own.

I ordered a peppermint blend sampler, which are the big leaves, and several generously sized scent shots.

Cold sniff thoughts: 

Kahlua/Irish Cream/Peppermint: Yum! Smells like a boozy, creamy peppermint mocha. Moderately strong on cold sniff.

Moroccan Mint: Smells very much like toothpaste with the slightest hint of smoke and spice. Not unpleasant, moderately strong.

Pink Peppermint Bazooka Bubblegum: Smells more fruity to me, like cranberry mandarin with a hint of bubblegum. Not much peppermint detected. Still nice. Strong.

Peppermint Sugar Cookie Royale: One of my favorites of the peppermint blends as I love vanilla bakery scents! A lovely strong vanilla peppermint cookie blend. I'll probably melt this tomorrow with my new 719 Peppermint Twist candle.

Sweet Lavender Mint:

Smells like a fresh, sweet lavender soap. Quite lovely; good for traditional lavender lovers. Moderately strong.

Pink Spearmint/Marshmallow Fluff/Vanilla Smoothie: Another interesting vanilla mint blend. Smells like a vanilla mint toothpaste I loved that was discontinued. No discernible marshmallow/creamy notes. Moderately strong.

Banana Nut Bread/Butterscotch Cookie Dough: Yum! The banana nut is very strong, with a hint of butterscotch/bakery.

Orange Caramel Cake/Vanilla Waffle Cone: MMMM! Exactly as I hoped it would smell! Orange vanilla bakery scent. Moderately strong.

Coffee Ice Cream/Butterscotch Marshmallow: Another winner! Similar to BHG Butterscotch Maple Cream with a hint of coffee. Moderate.

Pumpkin Ice Cream/Buttercream: I don't get much pumpkin or cream from this, mainly strong cinnamon. We'll see how it is when melting. Strong.

Iced Lemon Biscotti/Strawberry Shortcake/Cuppy Cake: A nice lemon bakery blend with a touch of strawberry. Moderate.

Vanilla Sandalwood: MMMM, exactly as I'd hoped. Warm vanilla sandalwood similar to SS Vanilla Woods, but a little less strong.

Strawberry Cream Cheese Frosting/Vanilla Wafers: A delightful strawberry cheesecake type scent. Moderately strong.

Holiday Sparkle: Strong pleasant woodsy pine scent.
